Look No Further!

You Found Me!

Any guesses what Glossophobia is?  (Hint: it is not the fear of lip gloss!)

It’s the fear of Public Speaking and it is estimated that 75% of the population suffers from this fear on one level or another.  I happen to be in the minority on this one…I love Public Speaking!  The excitement!  The possibilities!  The energy!  Bring it on!

I’ve spoken at the City of Irvine’s Super Saturday events, school PTA meetings, church group meetings, K-12 student classrooms, school staff in-service training days and the Rotary Club of Anaheim.

I would be honored to speak at your meeting, training, conference, school, podcast or webcast!

What would I talk about?  Hmmm….How about one of these topics?

Self-Care Isn't Selfish, It's Essential:

There’s been a lot of talk lately about self care. I’ll explain what it really is, its importance for caregivers and how to make time to refuel yourself every day. This is a great talk for Moms Groups, Teachers and Nurses too!

Connecting with Consciousness:

An introduction to the basic concepts of the conscious approach to interacting with kids as parents, teachers and caregivers. Based on the work of Dr. Shefali Tsabary this is a revolutionary way of shifting perspectives.

Just (How To) Calm Down:

Yes, we should calm down and so should our kids. But how do we do that?  A variety of brain science-based calming strategies are presented and explained with simplicity so kids and adults alike can add them to their toolbox and put them to use immediately.

Your Presence is Required- Mindfulness Matters:

Explores the vital role of mindful interactions, building the habit of responding rather than reacting, the scientifically proven positive impact on mental health and how we can teach kids to start incorporating mindfulness into their days too.

A Positive Discipline Toolbox:

An overview of Positive Discipline as an effective way of connecting, nurturing and teaching children life skills and resiliency.

Just For K-12 Students:

I have years of experience in classrooms teaching social and emotional skills and I have a special place in my heart for kids. I’d love to come visit your students to provide a talk on a variety of topics ranging from bullying to the importance of goals to self esteem to tolerance of differences and everything in between.

I’m looking forward to speaking with you soon!
